Olympic Avenue participates in the central enrolment scheme at Bayside Council. Enrolment forms are available at the Kindergarten, or can be downloaded by accessing the site below.

Places for the Kindergarten program within the City of Bayside are allocated according to a number of Criteria, which are regularly reviewed. Information regarding the criteria for the Bayside Central enrolment scheme, as well as the enrolment application form, can be obtained from Bayside City Council at 27 Royal Avenue, Sandringham, 3191 or from the Council's website at:

The enrolment period for 2012 commences on the 1st May 2011 and closes 30th June 2011. All registrations received after 30th of June will be placed on a council waiting list and considered after 3rd round offers.

The first round of offers will begin in August with the third round being completed in September by the Bayside Council central enrolment service. Any registrations still on the waiting lists then will be sent to the Kindergarten after the third round, with any subsequent offers of places decided by Olympic Avenue Kindergarten.

Upon offer of a place by Bayside Council at Olympic Avenue Kindergarten, places are confirmed by forwarding the acceptance form, indicating the preferred group session time, and the required fee to Olympic Avenue Kindergarten, 28 Olympic Avenue Cheltenham 3192.

Session Times

There are 20 children in each 3 year old group, and a maximum of 23 children in 4 year old groups.

Fees

Fees are determined each year by the Committee of Management based on enrolment numbers and in direct proportion to the cost of running the Kindergarten program. Olympic Avenue Kindergarten is a not for profit organisation.

Fees for 2011 are $272 per term for 3 year old Kindergarten and $265 per term for 4 year olds. These include a fundraising levy and administration levy. An incursion/excursion levy is also included for 4 year old families only. There is an additional $80 working bee levy payable in term 1, which is deducted from fees after completion of a working bee during the year.

Fees are payable before the commencement of each term.

To make a purchase: Please use the ordering envelopes located in the foyer of the Kinder.

Order Collection: Please allow three working days for your order to be processed. It will then be ready for collection from the Kinder office. Please see one of the staff members in the office.
